Pennsylvania car salesman going to prison for ripping off customers, DOJ says

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WHTM) — A Pennsylvania used car salesman who ripped off dozens of customers after he never delivered vehicles that were paid for will spend time in prison.

Edward Rock, 50, of Philadelphia, will spend about three and a half years in prison, followed by three months of supervised release, the Department of Justice said Wednesday. He must also pay just over $1.4 million in restitution.

In October 2025, Rock pleaded guilty to counts of mail fraud and wire fraud, the DOJ said.
