DES MOINES, Iowa — A portion of Hickman Road in Des Moines will be closed starting this Friday due to a resurfacing project.
Between Merle Hay Road and Beaver Avenue, construction crews will patch select sections of pavement and begin a mill-and-overlay process to improve road conditions.
The city said “Road Closed to Thru Traffic” signs will be posted on either end of the construction site, but residents living inside the area will still have access to their homes…
