Warm Wednesday Before Severe Storm Chances

A warm/ muggy day, with highs in the 80s under mostly/partly sunny skies. Storms develop W->SE this evening. Isolated Rain showers could occur near 4-6pm near Lincoln.

Isolated storms develop in SW Nebraska near 5pm before a line of storms moves ESE overnight. Half dollar size hail or greater & winds up to 60+ mph

7-9PM: A line of storms will start to develop out west, with a few storms ahead of the line near North Platte. LARGE HAIL/ DAMAGING WINDS will begin.

9PM-Midnight: Storms will begin to weaken, with the strongest storms north of I-80. Thursday morning, SE Nebraska will see rain/storms before another round!

Thursday: June 4, 2026

Thursday morning showers in SE Nebraska with isolated strong to severe storms by 3-7pm. Half dollar size hail or greater, 60+ mph winds & localized FLOODING.

1-3PM: Isolated storms look to develop near the Tri-cities starting the hail/wind threat. Watching areas south of I-80 for a stronger storm or two.

4PM-7PM: Storms will move through Lincoln near 5-6pm with Omaha getting storms near 7-8pm. Storms will be capable of STRONG winds & large hail. Watching areas N & S of Lincoln for the strongest storms. Stay tuned for updates.
