WSDOT to close damaged pedestrian bridge over I-405 for repairs

KIRKLAND, Wash. — A bridge over Interstate 405 in Kirkland will close for repairs due to damage from a suspected bridge strike, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

The pedestrian bridge near Northeast 80th Street and 116th Avenue Northeast will close in both directions beginning Thursday, June 3, for engineers to review the damage and to make a plan for repairs.
