LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A major $100 million overhaul at the City of Henderson’s Water Reclamation Facility is now complete, bringing new equipment and upgraded treatment processes aimed at keeping wastewater service reliable as the community grows.
The facility treats wastewater and returns it to Lake Mead, a process the city says helps protect Henderson’s water resources. The city also said every drop that goes down a drain is treated and reused, supporting long-term water sustainability.
