Crime Stoppers: 3 requests to identify, 1 wanted

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — This week on Crime Stoppers, police need your help identifying people wanted in three separate crimes and tracking down a man wanted on a warrant for kidnapping.

If you have information regarding the cases below, call Crime Stoppers of Mid-Michigan at (517) 483-STOP. You can remain anonymous.

Those who contact Crime Stoppers with information can receive up to a $1,000 award.

Vehicle break-in

The Lansing Police Department is asking for help identifying two juveniles that broke into a vehicle on May 26 in the 600 block of Ottawa Street.

Aggravated Assault

Lansing police also want help identifying someone who committed an aggravated assault on May 20 in the 100 block of E Kalamazoo Street.

Deadly Hit-and-Run

Jackson County deputies are also asking for help in a hit-and-run investigation from January 2026. Police say at around 9:30 p.m. on Jan 15, 2026, 76-year-old Norman Heim was struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle in the area of Lansing avenue and South Oak Creek Drive in Rives Township. The vehicle then left the scene.

Shawn Thomas Cassidy

Shawn Thomas Cassidy, 41, is wanted on a warrant for kidnapping out of Lansing. He is 6’3″ and 300 lbs., with a currently unknown hair color and blue eyes…
