RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Teachers and parents have voiced concerns over the new budget cuts by Richmond Public Schools.
Richmond Public Schools officially adopted its budget for the 2026-27 school year Tuesday, June 2, following months of concern surrounding potential cuts to teacher’s pay, a lack of full funding support from the city and the subsequently expected closure of Richmond Virtual Academy.
