State police charge man with holding York County woman at knifepoint

Pennsylvania State Police arrested a man for allegedly injuring a woman and threatening her with a knife while holding her against her will.

Matthew Oden Plever, 45, of Etters was charged with allegedly holding the woman at knifepoint around 5:24 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at a home in the 8000 block of Carlisle Road in Warrington Township.

According to court documents, Plever had been staying at the home off and on for two months and lived with his wife and children in Etters before coming to stay with her. She told police Plever had not slept for several days and was having episodes of rage against her…
