Alabama board warns against unlicensed home builders; restrictions in place for advertisement

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Unlicensed home building activity and unlicensed advertising are common problems across Alabama, according to the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board.

The board says it’s something investigators deal with regularly, and it can put homeowners at risk when consumers hire someone who is not properly licensed to build or work on a home.
