Wildwood, N.J. — As the weather turns warmer, the City of Wildwood continues to ask beachgoers to take water safety seriously following the disappearance of a 14-year-old Philadelphia boy who went missing after entering the ocean Monday afternoon.
That teenager, Davoris Carter, disappeared Monday while on a class trip to the shore with Delta School, a private school for students with special needs.
Authorities said that while the initial large-scale search operation has ended, the Wildwood Police Department, Wildwood Beach Patrol, and New Jersey State Police Marine Unit continue to actively monitor the area using drones and other resources…
