Central New York teens take part in clinical study for Lyme disease vaccine

MANLIUS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Ashton and Jordan Miller, twin siblings, know firsthand how common ticks are.

“I’ve had my fair share of ticks,” Ashton said. “Doing tick checks is something my parents drilled into me from a very young age.”

Growing up in an active family in Central New York, a region known for high tick populations, the risk of Lyme disease is a part of their daily life.
