WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The parents of a 32-year-old man who died after allegedly using a kratom product sold as a wellness tonic have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the product’s manufacturer and several Palm Beach County retailers.
The lawsuit, filed June 3 in Palm Beach County Circuit Court, names Botanic Tonics, LLC, the maker of “Feel Free Classic,” along with Rise N Vape Smoke Shop LLC #6, Global Mart Tobacco and Beverages of Jupiter Inc., Glass Chamber West Palm Beach Inc., and Glass Chamber Okeechobee Blvd Inc.
