Baton Rouge – The jackpot winning Easy 5 ticket from the May 23 drawing was purchased by Dinah Chenier of Vacherie, who claimed her prize at Lottery headquarters in Baton Rouge on Thursday, May 28. Her ticket matched all five winning numbers — 06-08-12-26-27 — from the May 23 drawing. After state and federal tax withholdings, Chenier took home $87,601.46.
The ticket was sold at Wag-A-Pak II located at Highway 20 West in Vacherie.
