A Tulsa woman was recently charged in connection with the overdose death of her two-year-old son.
Back in May, Tulsa Police responded to a 911 call about a baby in cardiac arrest, and his mother, 25-year-old Markeasha Norman, told officers she found the boy unresponsive on the floor with blue lips. Officers said they were told Norman smokes fentanyl every day, and her son could have ingested some.
The boy died several days later, a blood sample was taken, and he tested positive for fentanyl and xylazine, which, combined, is known as the street drug “tranq.” Reports say Norman was handed Narcan to reverse the effects of the drug, but she didn’t know how to use it…
