BALTIMORE, MD—Environmental officials have issued an air quality alert for the Baltimore metropolitan area and Annapolis region for Friday, warning that pollution levels could become hazardous for vulnerable residents.
The Maryland Department of the Environment issued the Code Orange alert, covering southern Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties.
