MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – By this time next month, Jackson Hospital will be closed unless Blue Cross Blue Shield increases reimbursement rates according to hospital CEO John Quinlivan.
The deadline for a deal is June 25, and if a deal isn’t reached, the hospital is expected to begin their closing plan July 1.
“I’ve become less optimistic, and truly the closer we get to June 25 the less likely I think it is unfortunately,” Quinlivan said. “We’re keeping our fingers crossed.”…
