Man tries to take control of trains in overnight stunt at Harrisburg station: police

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — In an overnight escapade, a Harrisburg man rolled under a security gate at the Amtrak station and snuck onto two trains, where he tried to take control of both, according to charging documents.

Police said it was just past 12:30 a.m. May 26 when Russell Kauffman, 35, of Harrisburg, arrived in an upper-level passenger drop-off area at the Harrisburg Amtrak Station.

He was then reportedly seen on security footage around 12:42 a.m. entering a lower parking lot that clearly advised no trespassing…
