Sign thief in Baker?: Community activist says anti-violence signs are being repeatedly stolen

BAKER, La. — A Baton Rouge activist says someone is repeatedly stealing her anti-violence signs in Baker, while signs in other areas remain untouched.

Cathy Toliver has placed signs across Baton Rouge and Baker with permission from business owners. Each sign costs around $40 and carries a message against gangs and bullying.

“I’m saying no more gangs, and no more bullying. We can stop it, we can get a grip on it, and I’m angry,” Toliver said…
