Former Clallam County Drug Court coordinator pleads not guilty to federal drug charges

Tacoma — Johnny Watts, Jr., a former Clallam County Drug Court Coordinator who was arrested in March near Port Angeles along with several suspected accomplices and charged with drug possession and intent to distribute, is now facing federal charges.

In a brief status hearing in Clallam County Superior Court on Thursday, the State moved to dismiss its local felony charges and announced that the federal government had taken over the case.
