CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Bama Works has announced its grant award winners for the 2026 spring cycle, pledging roughly $900,000 to nonprofits across Central Virginia.
The philanthropic organization, launched by Charlottesville native Dave Matthews and his bandmates, provides these grants twice per year, as part of a broader effort to serve as a consistent force in the community and ensure nonprofits can continue to do critical work.
