Col. Tom Denney, a decorated Army veteran and beloved member of the Clarksville community, passed away June 3, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by his family.
Denney served more than 30 years in the U.S. Army, including four combat tours in Vietnam. He eventually rose to the rank of Garrison Commander at Fort Campbell. After retiring from the military, he and his wife, Sandra, chose to make Clarksville their longtime home.
Following his military career, Denney spent several years in automotive sales before serving 19 years as General Manager with Coldwell Banker Conroy, Marable & Holleman.
