2 arrested, accused of firing at homeowner in Cherokee County, deputies say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Two people have been arrested after deputies said they broke into a homeowner’s car in Cherokee County on Saturday morning.

Montrella Colzie, 35, and Dameyon Heck, 24, were taken into custody by Atlanta police. Heck was wanted for murder in Atlanta, violating probation in Cobb County and manufacturing cocaine in Illinois, while Colzie was wanted for violating probation in Atlanta.

Deputies were called to the home on Chesapeake Lane in Woodstock shortly after midnight, where they met with the homeowner. The man said a Ring camera alert woke him up, and he checked his camera to see a man in his truck…
