State seeking permanent revocation of Ocala nurse’s license following assault plea

An Ocala nurse whose license was temporarily suspended earlier this year after she was accused of pointing a loaded gun at a man’s head is now facing permanent revocation following a no-contest plea.

The Florida Department of Health has filed an administrative complaint seeking formal disciplinary action against Sarah Ranae Helman, who entered a plea of nolo contendere (i.e., “no contest”), to a second-degree misdemeanor charge of assault in Marion County court on March 12.
