An Olathe man was arrested late Wednesday night after leading Lenexa police on a seven-mile car chase. He has since been charged with six felonies in Johnson County District Court.
In an emailed response to questions on Friday, Lenexa Police spokesperson Master Police Officer Danny Chavez said that officers attempted to stop a truck for traffic violations near 95th Street and Interstate 35 around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
“The driver refused to stop and continued northbound on I-35 at a high rate of speed,” Chavez said. “Officers deactivated their emergency equipment and continued to monitor the vehicle from a distance, at times losing sight of it.”…
