The third defendant in a case of what may have been a friendly-fire November 2020 homicide has entered a guilty plea and been sentenced for manslaughter in a Caddo Parish courtroom.
Torenzo Bunnery, now 22, was sentenced to five years. Two others, Christian Gandy and Jayron Kelly, 19 and 20, respectively, at the time of the homicide, entered guilty pleas to manslaughter in 2023. Gandy is serving a 15-year and Kelly an 11-year sentence.
