SHREVEPORT, La. — Residents at Garden Park Nursing Home spent Thursday morning at the “car wash” as the facility hosted a specialized cleaning event for mobility equipment.
The event, themed “Revive Your Ride,” ran from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and was held outdoors to simulate a traditional drive-thru car wash experience. Staff members worked to wash and sanitize wheelchairs and walkers, which they referred to as the residents’ “wheels.”
