200 volunteers clean Michigan rivers on cleanup day

LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – About 200 volunteers showed up for River Cleanup Day on Saturday, organized by the Michigan Waterway Stewards.

The Michigan Waterway Stewards was started four years ago with the goal of cleaning rivers from trash and debris. Since starting, the organization has removed over 200,000 pounds of litter and trash.
