Good Saturday evening, everyone!
A slow-moving storm system has been working its way through the eastern panhandle today keeping Amarillo and points east cooler and wet. We have been stuck in the 60’s while the western panhandles have climbed into the 70’s and 80’s. The showers and storms will exit the area during the evening hours leaving us partly cloudy and humid to start out Sunday morning.
Sunday will be much warmer with highs well into the upper 90s with a few low 100’s along with SW wind of 5-15 mph. Even though we will dry out quite a bit Sunday, there is still a chance for a few isolated storms in the southern half of the area…
