SALT LAKE CITY, June 6, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating a fatal Friday night auto-pedestrian crash that happened about 10:30 p.m. near 500 South 400 West in downtown Salt Lake City.
Sgt. Joshua Moody with SLCPD told Gephardt Daily at the scene, “Our officers were on a proactive enforcement spot here at the address when they witnessed an auto-pedestrian accident. They immediately responded and attempted to provide care for the victim.”
Fire and medical crews arrived, “and we did everything we could to try and save her. Unfortunately, she passed away,” Moody said…
