The mother of a teenager killed in last weekend’s shooting in Sandy released a statement Saturday addressed to the local community.
Valerie McClure, the mother of 16-year-old Kobyn McClure — who was one of three people killed in the shooting — posted the statement Saturday in a private Facebook group. In the short post, she offered condolences to the family of the other two victims and thanked the community for its support.
