One of the world’s fastest-growing apparel brands is preparing to make its standalone San Diego debut. SKIMS, the shapewear, underwear, loungewear, and apparel company co-founded by Kim Kardashian and entrepreneur Jens Grede, will open a new retail store this summer at Fashion Valley in Mission Valley.
The upcoming boutique is currently under construction on the second level of the shopping center next to Anthropologie and across from Athleta. Once open, it will mark the first dedicated SKIMS store in San Diego County and further expand the brand’s growing brick-and-mortar presence throughout the United States.
Co-founded in 2019 by Kardashian and Grede, SKIMS has rapidly evolved from a direct-to-consumer shapewear startup into one of the most recognizable names in modern fashion.
