Margaritaville breaks ground on Myrtle Beach condos, first new coastal build in decade

MYRTLE BEACH S.C. (WPDE) — Margaritaville Vacation and Residences marked the start of its newest Myrtle Beach development with a groundbreaking launch party held yesterday for a new coastal condominium community.

The event featured a band, food and margaritas as the company celebrated plans for 271 resort-style units in Arcadian Shores. Officials said it is the area’s first new coastal condominium in more than a decade, and 25% of the community has already been sold.
