Malta woman charged with animal cruelty after hound mix seized, Saratoga County says

Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies responding to an animal complaint in the town of Malta late last month arrested a Malta woman on animal cruelty charges, authorities said.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said it responded to an animal complaint May 28, 2026, at 10:07 a.m. on Arbor Avenue in Malta. The investigation led to the arrest Thursday of Holly M. Walsh-Plew, 46.
