HUDSON — An industrial site in the city could get a new lease on life if the plans of a local developer come to fruition.
The site, located just north of Hudson’s Amtrak station, consists of two large industrial buildings that have sat vacant for nearly 20 years and land where a third building once stood. Now, developer Ben Fain has plans to build a 16,000-square-foot grocery store, two retail buildings totaling 8,000 square feet, and a five-story apartment building, according to city Planning Board documents.
