EAST LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – East Lansing residents will have an opportunity Monday to weigh in on proposed changes to the city’s Human Rights Ordinance.
Under the proposal, the city would change how it handles discrimination complaints by removing its authority to issue judgments or award damages and shifting its focus to mediation and dispute resolution.
