Stockton: Felon Indicted For Alleged Possession Of Sawed-Off Shotgun

A Stockton man was indicted last week for allegedly being a felon in possession of a firearm, federal prosecutors said.

Steven Refugio Rodriguez, 57, was stopped by a sheriff’s deputy in May for an expired registration, according to prosecutors. Rodriguez was on parole and therefore subject to a lawful search. The deputy alleged they found a Harrington & Richardson 12-guage sawed-off shotgun with an 8-inch barrel and several 12-guage rounds.
