Omaha, NE- The popular breakfast cereal giant Kellogg is permanently closing its Omaha cereal plant this summer, resulting in the loss of 451 jobs.
According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) filed with the Nebraska Department of Labor, with layoffs beginning July 20th later this year, and continuing in phases through August 18th, with the facility scheduled to close in August, 2026.
