Honolulu police investigate Pearl City crash that killed 82-year-old

PEARL CITY (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Police Department was notified that a pedestrian involved in a collision had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead on Sunday.

HPD said on Thursday, at about 7:48 p.m., a collision involving a pedestrian occurred near the intersection of Hoomalu St and Puu Poni St in the Pearl City area.

It was reported to the Honolulu Police Department that a 52-year-old man was attempting to park his car on the unimproved sidewalk adjacent to a residence when he struck an 82-year-old woman who was sitting on the unimproved sidewalk…
