Four displaced after Ashburn townhouse fire, $65K in damages, officials say

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Four people are without a home after a fire broke out at an Ashburn townhouse on Friday, leaving thousands of dollars in damage, officials said.

According to Loudoun County firefighters, crews initially arrived at the townhouse in the 21000 block of Monmouth Terrace to find smoke and fire coming from the home’s back deck.

Crews extinguished the flames with no injuries reported. However, in an update on Monday morning, officials said the blaze left about $65,000 in damages, displacing three adults and one child.
