For those opposed to the possibility of a new vape shop in North East, it’s about numbers. They don’t think yet another is needed.
One local vape shop owner said another shop is trying to open up where the Rite Aid was located on West Main but was denied due to a recent ordinance preventing vape shops from opening within a thousand feet of another, as well as closeness to a school.

“He has been trying to open a vape store over there, he has been denied multiple times, he does have one more shot to do it,” said Ashley Swanson, the manager at Moe’s Smoke & Vape Shop.
