A 4-year-old boy was sent to the hospital after he was “swept” off his feet from a strong gust of wind while on the beach in North Myrtle Beach, according to a report from the city’s Ocean Rescue.
First responders with North Myrtle Beach Ocean Rescue received a call for service just before 3 p.m. June 3 for reports of a 4-year-old child possibly having a broken arm, the report said.
Witnesses at the scene told ocean rescue and EMS that the “strong gust” blew through the area and lifted the boy off his feet, spinning him around before he fell on his arm, according to the report…
