Father and Son Charged in RV Fraud Investigation Involving Dozens of Victims in Ocala

OCALA, Fla. — Two owners of an Ocala RV dealership have been charged following a financial crimes investigation that uncovered alleged fraud involving more than two dozen customers, according to the Ocala Police Department.

The investigation focused on Village RV on South Pine Avenue and its owners, 65-year-old Anthony Piccone and his 31-year-old son, Drake Piccione.

According to police, the investigation began in August 2024 after a victim reported being defrauded of money and an RV. As detectives continued their investigation, more than two dozen additional victims came forward with similar complaints…
