Public safety, downtown revitalization and infrastructure are all key elements of Lincoln Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird’s biennial budget proposal.
The biennial budget for 2026-28 is nearly $317 million for the first fiscal year and around $334 million for the second fiscal year. That’s about a 5% increase from the previous fiscal year.
