NU Board of Regents unanimously approves Nebraska Medicine buyout

LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) – The University of Nebraska Board of Regents gave a multimillion-dollar buyout of Nebraska Medicine the green light Monday.

During a very brief meeting Monday morning, the board voted on legal documents that would update how Nebraska Medicine is governed. The vote means Clarkson Regional Health Services will end its longtime leadership role on Tuesday.

Both items passed without any discussion, with only two people attending the meeting in person. A quorum was reached via Zoom…
