Suspect shot at individuals after Facebook Marketplace transaction at Portland area park, police say

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A suspect has been arrested following reports of shots being fired at Jurgens Park in Tualatin during a Facebook Marketplace transaction last week, police said.

On June 2, the Tualatin Police Department said they responded to Jurgens Park after reports of shots being fired.

At the time, authorities posted on social media saying that there was police activity around the park and to avoid the area.

Police said they spoke to the victims, who said they had gone to the park to meet up for a Facebook Marketplace transaction, and the suspect had tried to pay with hundreds of dollars’ worth of counterfeit bills…
