HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers who use McIntosh Road late tonight need to plan for a serious wrench in their travel plans. Starting at 9 p.m. on Monday, June 8, crews are shutting down all northbound lanes of McIntosh Road directly under Interstate 4.
The closure will squeeze traffic through the overnight hours, with lanes scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9. Local transportation officials confirmed that the shutdown is entirely dependent on the weather, so a sudden storm could change the timeline.
