Warren man stabbed dog 3 times after being asked to leave friend’s home, prosecutors say

WARREN, MI – A 42-year-old man was charged with several felonies after he allegedly committed an armed assault on two people and stabbed the family’s dog multiple times.

The alleged incident happened on May 17 in Warren, when the suspect was visiting a friend’s home. He was asked to leave the home after he allegedly made “inappropriate comments,” according to the Macomb County Prosecutor’s office.

After he was asked to leave, the man allegedly pulled out a knife and slashed it toward a man and his daughter. The family’s dog came to protect his owners, and the man stabbed the dog two times in the mouth and once in the nose…
