FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Monday’s Fort Wayne Community School Board Meeting ended with the approval of a five-year 3DE contract.
The 3DE program is provided by Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana as a project-based learning program for high school students at FWCS. Various local companies come into the classroom to present a series of case challenges the business may be facing. Students are tasked with working together as a group to find solutions to these real-world problems.
The program was implemented at FWCS in 2022. Many parents voiced their concerns that the program takes away from a student’s choice to enroll in electives like band, choir, or theatre…
