KENTUCKY — A California woman died after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to catch her pet that had escaped following a crash along Interstate 75 in Rockcastle County, according to Kentucky State Police.
The incident happened Monday when troopers responded to a crash on I-75. Investigators said 33-year-old Morabia Siddhi Suresh of Fremont, California, had been involved in a separate collision and was exiting her vehicle when her pet got loose.
According to state police, Suresh ran into the roadway while chasing the animal and entered the path of a passing vehicle. She was struck and suffered serious injuries…
