Cherry Hill Diner being razed to make way for a car wash

A landmark restaurant in Cherry Hill is being demolished to make way for an automated car wash.

The Cherry Hill Diner, a fixture since 1965 at Route 38 and Cooper Landing Drive, will be replaced by a Spark car wash, according to a banner at the site.

Spark also plans to build at the recently cleared site of a small commercial strip on Route 70 and South Cornell Avenue in Cherry Hill. That property held a day-care center, a massage parlor and other businesses…
